ALABAMA ATTORNEY GENERAL ANNOUNCES LAWSUIT AGAINST MAJOR OPIOID MANUFACTURER PURDUE PHARMA FOR VIOLATION OF ALABAMA DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES ACT

MONTGOMERY -Attorney General Steve Marshall announced today that the State of Alabama has filed suit against Purdue Pharma, L.P., Purdue Frederick Company Inc., and Rhodes Pharmaceuticals, L.P. Ron Craig: Interpretation of God’s Word continued

Christian Author and Pastor Ron Craig

Most modern church members have evidently become accustomed to the universal practice of interpreting the Scriptures, and that with greatly varying interpretations; and have never thought about the fact that the Bible itself outright forbids such. Even I do not recall ever hearing anyone suggest, or even imply, that interpreting the Bible is heresy within itself. People only argue about which interpretation is correct.

Deuteronomy 4:2: “You must not add to the word that I [God] command you, neither diminish anything from it, so that you may KEEP the commandments of the LORD.” (People want to interpret God’s Word simply because they do NOT want to obey it!)
Proverbs 30:5-6: “Every word of God is [already] pure [So, how can man’s interpretation improve it?]. Add not to God’s words, lest He reprove you, and you be found a liar.” (The same can be said about deleting anything from God’s Word. Either way, it is altered.)
Romans 3:3-4: “What if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: Yes, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, ‘That You may be justified in Your sayings, and may overcome when You are judged.’”

Republican women mean business in Alabama

Alabama’s leading Political Columnist Steve Flowers

This political year of 2018 may very well be the year of the woman in Alabama politics. In Alabama’s 200 year history, only one woman has been elected governor. Lurleen Wallace won in 1966. Only two women have served as governor, Governor Lurleen and our current governor, Kay Ivey. It may be a historic year.

Sue Bell Cobb, the former Alabama State Supreme Court Chief Justice, and the first woman to hold that position is hoping to be able to be the Democratic standard-bearer. She was elected Chief Justice in 2006, in a very expensive, high profiled battle with Republican Drayton Nabors. She had been a District Court Judge in her native Conecuh County for a long time before running statewide. She was elected to a six-year term as Chief Justice in 2006, but quit after four years, inexplicably. Continue reading Republican women mean business in Alabama

Craig: The Bible itself FORBIDS Bible interpretation!

Christian Author and Pastor Ron Craig

Stripping the church of its supernatural equipment. Over the centuries, numerous books have been published on the subject of hermeneutics—The so-called science of the interpretation of the Bible. Those theological speculations have ranged all the way from Scripture being considered literal to being merely allegorical; and several combinations of both. Some may now be suspicioning that I am about to lay another theological view upon the readers. But to everyone’s relief I will only say what the Bible itself has to say about Bible interpretation. I have never read such in any theologian’s written work. Nor have I ever heard it preached. Just read it in the Bible. Ready? Continue reading Craig: The Bible itself FORBIDS Bible interpretation!

Craig: The Creator became a man

Christian Author and Pastor Ron Craig

Yes, still on church equipment. As has already been established, both the Gospel and the Holy Sprit are the supernatural equipment God has invested in the church for the purpose of getting supernatural solutions to supernatural problems—which all problems actually are! “We wrestle not with flesh and blood, but against evil powers in the spirit realm [which are behind all people-problems] (Ephesians 6:12).” That means that until the church starts believing in and using its supernatural equipment to provide real solutions to people with real problems, the world will have to keep on trying to solve its spiritual problems with natural means—which does not have a very impressive track record. Just look at the mess the modern world is in. Continue reading Craig: The Creator became a man
