The word tribulation itself seems to be shrouded in mystery. So, let us take a little side journey to demystify that subject. Many obviously think that, if the church does not go through the last-days Tribulation, it will not go through any tribulation. We Christians will miss out on that wonderful blessing. Huh? First of all, those believers who have already gone on to heaven would not be able to get in on that supposed blessing, for they will obviously not be here. Second of all, and just as important, tribulation is not a blessing anyway. Jesus said that some hear the Gospel preached and joyfully receive it, “yet they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a little while: For when either tribulation or persecution arises because of the Word, by and by they are offended (Matthew 13:21).” That means they change their minds about the Gospel, and turn away from it. So, tribulation is certainly not a blessing to those offended ones. More Pre-Tribulation Scripture passages: First Corinthians 15:51-52 (KJV): “Behold, I show [reveal to] you a mystery; We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed; in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we [who are still alive] will be changed [get our glorified bodies].” Although Paul unmystified that mystery, many yet shroud that end-time event in mysterious speculations. And, though this passage hints not at the time of that event, the next one does. Continue reading Believers to be reunited with their glorified bodies and meet Christ in the air

One more Scripture passage those experts seem to have overlooked is Luke 17:26-30. Teaching on last-days events, the Lord said plainly that, just as it was in the days of both Noah and Lot, so would it be “in the days of the Son of man.” Noah had been warning the people that a flood was coming upon the earth, but they apparently thought he was off mentally. After all, one building a boat nowhere near a body of water capable of floating it was obviously unstable in his mind, so his prophecy of an event never seen before seemed more like a fantasy than something to be worried about.
