Barnes crowned 2016 Miss UNA

2016 Miss UNA Jocelyn Barnes with Creative Jewelers owner Billy Hammock

FLORENCE-(SHOALS INSIDER)-And the winner of the 2016 Miss UNA Scholarship pageant is……(DRUM ROLL) junior Jocelyn Barnes of Florence.
Barnes, who is majoring in entertainment technology, persevered in every category over seventeen other candidates to win the crown.

2015 Miss UNA Rachel Wammack crowned Miss Barnes in the pageant held Saturday night at Norton Auditorium.

Creative Jewelers, owned by Lauderdale County License Commissioner candidate Billy Hammock, was the official title sponsor of Saturday night’s event and has been now for several years in a row.

First runner-up was Victoria Roose of McCalla, Alabama.
