FLORENCE-(SHOALS INSIDER)-Florence resident, Amanda Haddock Thomas, 34, was arrested by U.S. Marshals on Tuesday.
She is facing numerous charges including 17 counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, one count of theft of property in the 2nd degree, and a single count of theft of property in the 3rd degree.
Over a five-day period in December, authorities tell the Insider, Thomas stole debit cards from two different male victims.
According to Florence police, both victims claimed to have mutual friends with Thomas and police say that is why they allowed her into their homes.
One victim’s card was used at least five times while the other victim’s card was used at least twelve times.
Thomas used these cards at different businesses throughout the Shoals.
Closed circuit surveillance images led to Thomas’ arrest.
In 2014, Thomas plead guilty in Lauderdale County Circuit Court to breaking and entering a motor vehicle.
