UPDATE: Missing senior found safe in Rome, Georgia

ROME, Georgia-(SHOALS INSIDER)-Authorities tell the Shoals Insider, Mr. Jerry Wayne Cotham has been located.According to Franklin County Sheriff Shannon Oliver, Mr. Cotham was located in Rome, GA this morning at approximately 8 a.m.

Mr. Cotham was walking down the road after wrecking his truck into a nearby ditch.

Emergency personnel stated that he appeared to be fine, but were transporting him to the local hospital for precautionary reasons.

Sheriff Oliver wishes to thank everyone for their assistance in getting the word out and sharing on social media.
