Emergency officials have confirmed to the Shoals Insider that cadaver dogs have hit on a possible location near Wilson Dam in the search for Velcro Pygmies Bass Player, Jake Sanders, and his brother, Jim Sanders.
Three crews are searching the area today, after TVA closed Wilson Dam’s Spillways for three hours. This enabled divers to search the area where the dogs signaled there may be something.
The two brothers were reported missing around 6:45 pm on Wednesday.
Since Wednesday, search and rescue crews have used airplanes, helicopters, and boats to search the Tennessee River from Wilson Dam to Pickwick Lake.
On Friday Papa John’s Pizza was on site to feed the emergency crews.
