FLORENCE-(SHOALS INSIDER)-Lauderdale County EMA and search and rescue teams continue their search this morning for the popular musician, Jacob Sanders, of the Velcro Pygmies, and his brother Jeremiah Sanders.
The two went missing Wednesday at 6:45 pm after they didn’t return from their fishing trip.
The bass boat belonging to the two was discovered under the Singing River Bridge around 3:00 am on Thursday.
Authorities tell the Insider the boat suffered structural damage indicating the pair may have struck a large or solid object.
Jacob Sanders is the bassist for the popular band the Velcro Pygmies. His brother Jeremiah is General Manager of Ricatoni’s restaurant in downtown Florence. The Band’s FaceBook Fan Page is asking for prayers.
Emergency crews searched all day yesterday and plan to continue their search efforts today.
