FLORENCE-(SHOALS INSIDER)-According to authorities, 38-year-old, Stephen Alan Inman,  1050 James Way, Killen, has been arrested on a grand jury indictment for manslaughter.

Alabama State Troopers tell the Shoals Insider, that these charges are a result of a single car accident that occurred on July 31, 2015. Inman was the driver of a 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport that lost control and struck a tree.

Desha Michelle Boggan, 40, also of Killen, died on August 2, 2015, at Huntsville Hospital from injuries sustained in the collision.

Inman had no injuries from the accident. The wreck took place on Lauderdale County Road 36, about 4 miles north of Killen. Authorities say Inman was under the influence of controlled substances when the accident occurred.

Inman is in the Lauderdale County Detention Center on $10,000 bond.  He is set to be arraigned in Judge Gil Self’s courtroom on February 19th.
