Andrew Scott Demboski, 21, of Ocean Springs was walking on a metal awning on top of the football stadium scoreboard.
Two others were with him. But Demboski fell 18 feet to his death and his friends survived.
Officials say they are lucky all the students weren’t killed.
The cororner said Dembowski had cardiac arrest after hitting his head. The body is being autopsied in Pearl, MS
The school is investigating the issue and said no further comment will be released until Monday.
