HUNTSVILLE — A.M Booth’s Lumberyard, outdoor wedding and event venue, expands to include a public restaurant, bar and grill with patio, and taproom. Spring Celebration and Reveal Party is set for Friday, April 8, 2016, starting with live music at 5p.m. Experience the new layout and preview future expansion plans including a 1924 Pullman dining train car, midway fair gaming area, and indoor banquet and music hall.

A.M. Booth’s Lumberyard offers live entertainment in a smoke-free casual environment and a unique menu created from carefully selected fresh ingredients. Guests have the freedom to carry their drinks from the Kiln bar, Platform patio grill, or Taproom dining area while exploring the property’s eclectic vibe.

“We created one of the most unique entertainment destinations in North Alabama,” said Doug Smith, owner and visionary of A.M Booth’s Lumberyard. “With multiple bars, four performance stages, three dining spaces, and several rentable areas for weddings, festivals, and special events, The Lumberyard is becoming downtown’s favorite backyard,” Smith added.

In 1895, A.M Booth started his building supply company and lumberyard near the now historic Huntsville Depot. In 1981, Smith opened Sound Cell Recording on the same site. Twenty-six years later, with the neighborhood scarred by junkyards, Smith acquired a majority of the downtown block and began revitalizing the area. By 2009, with several historic structures preserved, The Lumberyard arose as Huntsville’s one-of-a-kind wedding and special event venue. The 2015-16 expansion provides patrons and event planners with even more options.

A.M. Booth’s Lumberyard, 108 Cleveland Ave NW, is open to the public 7 days a week.
