ATMORE-Condemned killer Tommy Arthur received his seventh stay of execution on Thursday around 11:00 pm.
While some say Arthur is too old to execute , others say justice has definitely been delayed in the Troy Wicker murder case.
Prison officials said Arthur refused breakfast and declined a last meal on Thursday.
The officials stay of execution was signed by Justice Clarence Thomas. It came in at 10:55pm.
The stay will give the court time to review Alabama’s execution method.
It will reportedly be around 45 days before another execution date can be set.
