Revelation 14:14-20 portrays the battle of Armageddon two different ways: First the ripe harvest—sinners fully ripe for judgment, like wheat in a field. The second account of Armageddon describes that battle as the treading of grapes in a winepress, revealing that in that final battle of this evil age the carnage will be so great that blood from men and animals will come up to the horse bridle level for nearly 200 miles. That battle will take place in the valley of Megiddo—hence the name Armageddon—with mountains on each side; limiting the width of that blood alley. It will take Israel 7 months to bury all the bones (Ezekiel 39:12).
The rest of Revelation chapter thirteen is controversial as well, but understandable to all who are willing to study to understand it. The second beast, the Antichrist’s false prophet, exercises all of the authority of that first beast—the Antichrist—and uses it to pressure the world’s entire population (now over 7,000,000,000 people) to worship the first beast—the Antichrist.
SHEFFIELD- Things are starting to turn around for the Sheffield Police Department as Chief Ricky Terry has hired three new certified patrolmen for his department.

Thus from last week…2000 years ago there was no man-child which was caught up to heaven. Jesus (Who was not that man-child) was instead crucified, then raised from the dead, then remained on the earth, further instructing His disciples for a total of 40 days before ascending back to heaven (John chapter 21 and Acts 1:3). Moreover, Israel did not flee into the wilderness and stay there for three and a half years, but rather, in A. D. 70, was scattered all over the planet for about 1900 years, until in the late 1940s it became a legal nation again. Chapter 12 in Revelation pictures the modern nation of Israel, the first 144,000 Jewish converts during the Tribulation, the plan of the devil to obliterate the seed of Abraham once for all, plus God’s own plans to protect Israel from the devil, the Antichrist and his gullible angelic and human followers. (We will discuss in a later article the devil’s final assault on God and His people after his thousand-year confinement in the abyss, and observe his instant defeat, and his eternal fiery future.)

Governor Kay Ivey has had a very successful first year as governor. One of the coups she pulled off was getting the legislature to pass legislation granting the governor the power to appoint the Board of Pardons and Paroles. The new law will give her all the new appointments to the Parole Board. Previously, the three-member Board picked the director.
The new law went into effect on September 1, 2019 and Gov. Ivey wasted no time selecting the new director. She appointed longtime political figure, former Attorney General and former Mobile County Circuit Judge Charlie Graddick.
Each of the seven hostile Gentile kingdoms was ruled by one of the fallen angels, who ruled under the dragon—Satan. The beast (angel) who comes out of the abyss will be one of the angelic rulers over a past kingdom, which will be revived in the last days. That angel will be the wounded head that will be healed—Revelation 13:3, 12 and 14. That healing will be the revision of a past fallen Gentile kingdom and its angelic king. John did not teach that the Antichrist will be supernaturally healed, as some believe. (Daniel 10:12-13 and 20-21 inform us that angelic beings rule over different nations.) The Antichrist kingdom will actually be the revival of one of those previous kingdoms.

First of all, the first sign that John saw appeared in heaven. It appeared in John’s heavenly vision, but the action will occur on earth. Just stay with me while we go over it. Revelation chapter ten is part of another insert between trumpet six and seven. The angel had a little OPEN SCROLL in his hand (had to be the one Jesus opened, one seal at a time), and John was told to eat it—revelation knowledge—which John wrote about in Revelation. At that same time, seven thunders uttered some final words about God’s judgment for the last days. John was just about to write those words he heard, but the angel told him not to reveal them. So some things will remain secret until God chooses to make them known. But, enough has been revealed that humanity has no excuse for not obeying what God has chosen to make known. Let us be smart enough to obey!
