Despite being overheard making plans to escape to the Philippines with his Filipina wife, Timothy Staggs has been released on $300,000 bond.
Staggs, 83, was charged with five counts of second degree human trafficking and four counts of conspiracy to commit human trafficking.
Dillard and Staggs are accused of using various methods to take advantage of young female victims in the Lauderdale County area.
Last month Staggs was overheard on the jail phone making plans to sell his property and flee the country. Despite this he was allowed to be released on bond.
