Today, Thursday, at 4 pm a man was killed on Redbud st. in Florence. Officials have now released his name. Click for more.
The person killed was Charles Hugh Perkins, 77. A retired Florence Police Officer and detention guard at the Florence Jail.
Police are investigating and have a subject in for questioning.
