People will likely ask this question: “If God just renovates the surface of this planet instead of making an entirely new one, where will the inhabitants of this planet be located while He renovates it?

But, the same question could be asked about God’s plans to get the current inhabitants from this Old earth to the New earth; if He does make an entirely different planet. Will this old planet continue to exist until that New earth is finished, or will God make some kind of holding tank to house all of us until He has put the finishing touches on that new one? Good questions that challenge every reader to think! And hopefully provoke the truly interested parties to study! But, I am convinced that God is able to handle that situation and that He has already planned how He is going to take care of it when the time comes—which cannot be all that far away from now. Of course, the Bible already has the answer. I presented several Scriptures in the previous article that tell us plainly that the planet we inhabit now will be around forever. However, all of the sin scars on the earth’s surface will have to be removed—2 Peter 3:10. And the depth of those sin scars will be the depth of that renovation. But this old planet itself will abide forever—says God’s Word.
But now focusing on the new. First the new earth—this one renovated. John said in 21:1 that on the new earth there will be no more sea—which means no large oceans. That cannot mean the new earth will be just a desert. Obviously, the ecosystem will be renovated too. The new earth will be well watered. Then…I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband (Revelation 21:2). Think now: The new Jerusalem will not be constructed on earth and out of earthly materials. It will be made up in heaven and then be transported down to the new earth. Remember, the Lord assured His disciples that He was going to prepare a place for them (John 14:2-3). He also said that in His Father’s house there were many rooms, which suggests that the city already existed even back then. Of course, if He was going to prepare a place for them, He would obviously come back to get them and take them to that place. Which He also promised them—and us.
It seems that heaven and earth will come together in that new arrangement.Because, “I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, ‘Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and God himself will be with them [on earth], and be their God (Revelation 21:3).’” If you remember, Adam heard God walking in the Garden of Eden in the cool of the day (Genesis 3:8), suggesting that such was a common practice back in the beginning. And many Scriptures prophesy God will restore that practice.
(Ron Craig is pastor, teacher and author of Christian books; and these articles.
Wrapping up the judgment of the wicked on that great day: “The sea [ocean] gave up the dead [atoms and molecules of the bodies of the wicked dead] which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead that were in them [in other words, no human being will escape (avoid) God’s judgment]: And they were [all] judged; everybody according to their works. And [even] death and hell were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:13-15).

Quite obviously, the names of no one in the final judgment at the end of the Millennium will be recorded in the Book of Life, because all those whose names are found in the Book of Life will have been included in the wrap up of the first resurrection before the Millennium (that thousand-year reign of Christ with all of His saints—Old Testament believers, New Testament believers, and all those who will be saved during the Great Tribulation). Just as it has been prophesied by the prophets for thousands of years, God will settle all accounts!
Then what believers of all the ages have patiently awaited: “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: For the first heaven and the first earth had passed away; and there was no more sea (Revelation 21:1).” That was prophesied back in Isaiah 66:22—For, just as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, will remain before Me, says the LORD, so will your seed and your name remain. That future event will be a renovation of the terrestrial ball we live on. It will not be a totally new planet, but the cleansing of the earth from all of the filth it has accumulated over the centuries; and of its preparation for the redeemed inhabitants from the old world system. Several Scriptures reveal that the original planet will remain forever. Only its surface will be renovated. Genesis 8:22—While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night will not cease. (Look at Revelation 20:10.)Psalm 78:6—…the earth [this terrestrial globe] which He has established forever. Psalm 89:36-37—His seed will endure forever, and his throne as the sun before Me. It will be established forever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Psalm 104:5—God has laid the foundations of the earth, that it should NOT BE REMOVED FOREVER.Ecclesiastes 1:4—but the earth ABIDES forever. 2 Peter 3:10—The day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which, the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein will be burned up.
The Lake of Fire is obviously in the heart of this planet. If not, where? That is where Hades was located. Compare Matthew 12:40 with Acts 2:31. So, if this planet does go out of existence, will the Lake of Fire also be annihilated? Some things for us to think about while awaiting the next lesson. More explanation coming then. Looking forward to laying it all out for all to see.
The Bible makes it clear that heaven keeps record books—Revelation 20:12: All the wicked dead will stand before God at the Great White Throne judgment, just before the renovation of earth, and will be judged according to everything that has been written about them in those books. Every word, thought, action, and intention of every human being is recorded in heaven. That is true of every human being, including us Christians. But, when we get born again we become new creatures in Christ. Old things have passed away, and all things are new; and all those new things are of God (2 Corinthians 5:17-18).

In Christ, all those things that were recorded about us when we were sinners are obviously erased. And that is GOOD NEWS! What else can, “old things have passed away” mean? Nevertheless, we Christians will be held accountable for our every intention, thought, word and action after we become Christians. In Romans 14:10, Paul stated clearly that every believer will have to stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ. Romans 14:12: “Each of us will give an account of him or herself to God.” Second Corinthians 5:10: “We [Christians] must all stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ, that each one may receive [reward or loss] for the things done in the body [our bodies], according to what he [or she] has done, whether good or bad.” And now the third witness; 1 Corinthians 3:11-15: “No other [redemption] foundation can anyone lay [establish] than what has been laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now, whoever builds on that foundation gold, silver, precious stones, or wood, hay or stubble, each one’s work [as a Christian] will become manifest, for the Day [the day all believers will stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ] will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; for that fire will test each believer’s work, of what sort it is [acceptable or unacceptable]. If any person’s work which he or she has built on that foundation endures [passes that test], he or she will receive a reward. But, if the Christian’s work is burned up by the fire, he or she will suffer loss. [Not the loss of one’s salvation, for,] the Christian him or herself will be saved; yet so as through fire.” What the Judgment Seat of Christ reveals about each believer will determine the position (not condition) of each Christian in the renovated earth. And the overall lifestyle of each Christian in this life will determine what will be revealed at the Judgment Seat of Christ. I have been compelled to present this vital revelation about believers, before getting back to the Revelation account of the wicked—those people who remain unbelievers. If we will have to give account to God for every idle word we speak, then God must keep complete records on every human being (Matthew 12:36). Just as the position of us believers in that next realm will be determined by what has been recorded about us, the wicked dead will be judged by the things written in those books—the Book of Life being the most important book of all.
(Ron Craig is pastor, teacher and author of Christian books; and these articles.
In Revelation chapter 20, between Satan being locked up in the Abyss for a thousand years (verses 1-3) and afterwards his release, and immediate rebellion, and then his sudden descent into the Lake of Fire, where he will be tormented forever and ever (verses 7-10) is sandwiched the prophecy of the wrapping up of the first resurrection.

When it says “this is the first resurrection,” it certainly does not mean that was the totality of the first resurrection, but the end cap of it. Christ was the firstfruits of it, and next will be faithful believers, who will be raised up at Christ’s coming in the air to catch away the church (1 Corinthians 15:23). Revelation 11:11 also tells us that the two witnesses who are killed will be raised from the dead, and will ascend up to heaven. But, perhaps one of the largest groups to be resurrected will be all those who get born again during the Tribulation; many of whom will be beheaded for their accepting and clinging to Jesus Christ. They will refuse to worship the Antichrist, or take the mark of the beast, and therefore will be murdered for their faith (Revelation 20:4). And they will reign with Christ (and all the rest of us resurrected saints) for 1000 years.

Of course, all of us resurrected saints—of both Old and New Testaments—will continue to reign under Christ over the natural human beings who will go into the New Earth (Isaiah 65:17-25, 66:18-20, 21-24, Ezekiel 28:25-26, Zechariah 14:16-17, Matthew 22:30, 25:21, Luke 19:17). Very informative reading! Back to Revelation 20:5—The rest of the dead [people who died as sinners] will not live again [be resurrected and have indestructible bodies] until after the thousand years are finished [after the Millennium].

Then, verse six goes back to the first resurrection, saying, “Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power.” Well, what is the second death, and what kind of power was John talking about? Revelation 20:14 tells us that the Lake of Fire is that second death. And Jesus promised in Matthew 16:18 that the gates of hell [Hades] will not prevail over His church. The redemption wrought by Jesus Christ closed those gates to genuine Christians. And, Christ’s blood-purchased redemption is the only thing that will keep anyone out of hell. Of course, one has to believe the Gospel about the salvation Jesus wrought for us on the cross, and confess Christ as Savior. Revelation 20:11-15 reveals the ultimate fate of those who do not believe the Gospel message and receive the redemption that Jesus provided.

All the wicked dead will stand before God, Who will be sitting on a Great White Throne. They will do so reluctantly, for it says that they will try to flee their fate, but will not be able to do so. Unrepentant sinners will find no place to hide from the Judge. Books were opened! What kind of books? Record books! God does keep records. More will be said about all of that in our next session. (Ron Craig is pastor, teacher and author of Christian books; and these articles.
A millennium is a 1000-year period of time. Between the Second Coming of Jesus which will end this evil age and the creation of the New Heaven and New Earth, that time of universal peace on earth will be sandwiched in. It will be the same terrestrial globe we are now living on before it is renovated, but it will not be in the same condition as now; for the curse will be lifted. Which means there will be no sickness, poverty, pain or untimely death during that time—for those who do not rebel. But, the fact that we resurrected saints under Christ will rule with a “rod of iron” those survivors of the Battle of Armageddon implies that some during that thousand-year slice of eternity will not right-up-front willingly fit in with the absolute rule of that Total Theocracy—God rule.

There will be no appeals courts for offenders. Instant justice! Obviously, many will not like that, although that will be a time of universal peace. No one will have to fear walking in the dark at night, for no theft, rape or murder will be allowed. Yet, obviously forgetting all the many blessings provided during that time period, when given the opportunity, multitudes will join that newly-released devil (who will himself be enraged over his 1000 year confinement, being unable during that dark time to tempt angels or human beings), enlisting in his rebel army to help him make one final attempt to overthrow the very Creator of the universe. (Not smart!)

There will be no swords brandished in that final battle, for fire coming down from the very God they will be rebelling against will devour them all (Revelation 20:9). This verse implies that that great battle will not last very long. How long it will take Satan to gather the multitudes around Jerusalem is not mentioned. But, it will not take long for God to defeat Satan’s purpose, and to demonstrate to those rebels the utter stupidity of their decision to follow God’s enemy. Their freedom from God-rule will be very short-lived. (Again, not smart on their part.) The multitudes of Millennial residents who participate in that final rebellion will obviously make some most unwise decisions. For a little while, through the devil’s deceptions, it will seem like they are finally going to be in control of their own destiny. But a point I want to make here is that human nature is the same today. Many in the modern world continue to make choices that make no sense in light of Bible Truth. And we will all have to face that truth sooner or later! A final Bible Truth I want to get across in today’s end-time lesson is that, in chapter 20 of Revelation, there is no trial for the devil. In verses eleven through 15, we read about the Great White Throne judgment of the resurrected sinners. Yes, the wicked will have resurrected bodies too, which will be tormented in the Lake of Fire, but will not be consumed. Suffering eternally! But, we find no trial or tribunal for the devil. John 12:31 and 16:11 tell us plainly that, the ruler of this age WAS judged and cast out. That happened through the cross-event.

That next verse is Revelation 19:20. First, the Antichrist and his false prophet, who will deceive with his false miracles those who receive the mark of the beast, and those who worship that image the false prophet will have made of the beast—Antichrist—will be captured and cast alive into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone. Will angels handle that chore, or will Christ Himself do the honors? Consider Matthew 10:28.

After the Antichrist has been removed from the planet, his massive army will then be slaughtered by the Lord’s two-edged mouth-sword, and then the multitude of birds of prey will feast upon their remains; for, “Wherever the carcass is the vultures will be gathered together (Matthew 24:28).” Even though the Greek says eagles, some versions render it vultures. That cannot be speaking of the resurrection of the saints, for Christ is not a carcass, and we saints are not vultures. Besides, that Matthew passage refers to the coming of Christ to set up His kingdom, seven years after His saints have been caught up to meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:17). In this coming, Christ will stand on the Mount of Olives (Zechariah 14:4). Two phases of Christ’s coming.

What about the devil, who is the real culprit behind all of this madness? Revelation 20:1-3: An angel will descend from heaven to earth holding a key and a chain. The key will be to unlock the Abyss and then to lock it back. The chain will have Satan’s name on it, so to speak, for that angel will bind the devil with that chain and then throw him down into the lowest pit (Isaiah 14:15) and lock it. This passage must refer to both the Abyss and to the Lake of Fire. The Greek Abyss is also called the bottomless pit. Notice also that Jesus, the angel and John wanted us to be sure to understand just who will be confined to the Abyss for a whole thousand years. It will be the dragon, the Serpent of old, who is the devil, and Satan. Why will he be chained and confined to the Abyss for a thousand years? Having no contact with the human race, he will be unable to deceive the nations during that time. Humanity will have a thousand years of peace and will experience for the first time since the fall a theocracy. Righteousness will rule on the earth for a thousand years with no interruptions. No deception; no temptation; no sin. There being no sin, there will be no curse, no sickness, no poverty or pain. The human race has searched for such comforting conditions throughout its fallen career. But a thousand years is not forever. At the end of it, the devil must be released for a short period of time. Why must the devil be released? So that generation may be tested for its loyalty. No other explanation. That is at the heart of angelic and human history. Now you would think that no human being could be tempted to rebel against God after experiencing a thousand years of worldwide peace, health, and prosperity. During that time of universal God-rule, nobody will have to die. Some will live the whole thousand years. But, that generation will consist of the survivors of those nations that will come against Jerusalem under the Antichrist. Thus, they will not be born-again believers; at least at the first. We resurrected saints will rule under Jesus over them with the rod of iron. That generation will be unregenerate human beings, who will need to learn about God. God’s kingdom will need to be established in that generation. And His kingdom is established in individuals, not in whole communities. And, I have found that some people just do not like God—The only reason many will rebel with Satan that one last time. (Ron Craig is pastor, teacher and author of Christian books; and these articles.
Revelation 19:13 tells us that White-Horse-Rider was clothed with a robe dipped in blood. That was not His blood, but the blood of all those slain with that double-edged sword coming out of His mouth (verse 15). Christ’s blood has already been deposited on the altar of the heavenly Holy of Holies (Hebrews 9:12). Isaiah 63:3 prophesied that very event and identifies the blood that will stain Christ’s robe in that battle. In the same verse, the White-Horse-Rider is identified as the Word of God. Our Lord was known as the Word of God before He became flesh (John 1:1, 14, 1 John 5:7), and maintains that same title in Revelation. Christ’s manhood did not alter his Godhood.

Revelation 19:14 reveals that Christ will not be alone in the battle of Armageddon. He will be accompanied by all of us resurrected saints. And we will also be riding white horses—but obviously not flesh-and-blood horses. But something I never noticed until preparing this lesson; our garments will be white and clean linen robes. They will not be stained with blood. Nothing is said about us carrying any weaponry. We will simply come along for the ride and to view God’s judgments upon rebellious mankind and the devil. We resurrected saints will surely see that one angel put a chain on the devil and throw him into the Abyss (Revelation 20:1-2). Many have been awaiting that day! The same verse that tells about that mouth-sword also says the Lord will rule them with a rod of iron. That verse must be referring to not only Christ’s victory in the battle of Armageddon but also to His iron-rule during the Millennium. The word rule implies that those ruled over will be living, not dead, as the multitudes will be at Armageddon. But verse 15 does refer primarily to the battle of Armageddon and likens it to treading grapes in a winepress—grape juice representing the blood coming from the multitudes. John described it as the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God! And, Jesus Christ will be the Authorized Dispenser of that divine wrath upon the rebels—For on His robe and on His thigh was written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. The gory details of Armageddon, Revelation 19:17-21: An angel standing in the sun cried out with a loud voice, inviting the birds of heaven to come to the feast which God Himself had prepared for them. The angel called it the supper of the Great God; saying the birds could eat the flesh of kings, captains, mighty men (the warriors), and horses. From other Scripture passages, we know that every nation will be represented in that battle of Armageddon. That statue Nebuchadnezzar saw represented every nationality of the human race, from Daniel’s day to the end of this age. Isaiah 66:18 says God will gather all nations to see His glory—His defeat of rebellious mankind. Many have asked if the United States will be involved in Armageddon, and, if so, which side will they be on. ALL nations will definitely take part in that great battle, but not every citizen of every nation will be involved. Remember that many people will be beheaded because they refuse to take the mark of the beast—Antichrist. Therefore, they surely will not go to war to fight his cause. They will have already given their lives for Christ’s cause. Also remember that man has an agenda, the devil has an agenda, and Deity has an agenda. Outwardly, the Antichrist and his armies will attempt to annihilate Israel once and for all. But in reality, Satan, the beast, and his armies will be attempting to defeat Christ Himself (Revelation 19:19). The next verse fills us in on the outcome.
(Ron Craig is pastor, teacher and author of Christian books; and these articles.
Remember that John was viewing these events as though they were occurring in his days, but that they were prophecies of sure-to-come end-time events that are not yet upon us. However, many current world events strongly suggest that the fulfilment of all those end-time prophecies must be just around the corner. For instance, Christians are already being beheaded in those Middle-Eastern countries that are hostile to Biblical Christianity.

Moreover, the very hostility of some of those countries against other Middle-Eastern countries is setting the stage for Christ’s prophecy of the rising up of nations against other nations and kingdoms against other kingdoms as Jesus Christ prophesied in Matthew 24:7. There, Christ also mentioned earthquakes, famines, and pestilences as signs of end-time woes, and the beginning of sorrows (verse 8); and who has not noticed such traumatic events occurring around the globe today? So, it is almost here! Remember also that although John was viewing these events in the spiritual realm, the book of Revelation (plus Christ’s definite prophecies) assures us that they will definitely take place in the natural realm at the end of this age. John’s visions were not mere symbols that can be easily explained away by theological arguments but prophesies of definite judgments of the Almighty God upon this evil generation. God will put an end to both the devil’s and man’s rebellion. Babylon being both a literal rebellious city and a worldwide satanic religious network, both of which have deceived the world throughout history by sorceries (Isaiah 47: 9, 12 and Revelation 18:23), and both being guilty of shedding the blood of saints, then heaven will naturally rejoice over the destruction of both. And so says Revelation 19:1-6. Blood-shedders will pay an exorbitant price in the end. Verses 7-8 speak of the marriage of the Lamb (Christ) and His wife, who has made herself ready. Chapter 21 identifies the Bride, the Lamb’s wife, and it might just surprise you as to her identification—that coming in a later lesson. Revelation presents the battle of Armageddon more than one time, and from more than one angle. However, all presentations reveal that both Satan and the Antichrist will be defeated and Jesus will be victorious. Revelation 19:11—John saw a white horse, and the One riding upon that horse was called Faithful and True. Revelation 6:2 also showed the Antichrist riding a white horse and going out to conquer with a bow. But, Christ has a two-edged sword and has already conquered—what qualified Him to open those 7 seals (5:5). So, be sure to study the Scriptures, instead of making quick judgments based on surface scanning of the Scriptures. If we do not study, we will eventually be ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15). Revelation 19:11 again: He being Faithful and True, in righteousness the resurrected and glorified Jesus judges and makes war. On His head were many crowns (19:12), for He had taken over all of the kingdoms of this world (11:15). I can hardly wait to get into the rest of chapter 19. The best is yet to come.
(Ron Craig is pastor, teacher and author of Christian books; and these articles.

Just like most other portions of the book of Revelation, chapters 17 and 18 are problematic for those who want to believe the book is merely symbolic, and therefore may be interpreted many different ways—especially their own unique way. I agree with Finis Dake (of Dake’s Annotated Bible) that the material must be taken literally unless it becomes obvious that some portion is symbolic. And even then let the book of Revelation itself, or some other Bible book, explain the symbolism.

Primarily, the book of Daniel lays the foundation for understanding the book of Revelation, and Revelation expands upon Daniel’s prophetic visions of the end-times and makes those visions make more sense in our day. Both chapter 17 and 18 use the term Babylon and present both similarities and differences between the two Babylons. First of all, both Babylons are called a city. Although I do not know all of the implications of that fact, I can say that the very term city reveals that each entity is a well-organized system.

The first is a well-organized religious system that has dominated mankind since the fall of Adam—chapter 17. The seven-headed beast the woman rides is made up of various nations of people existing from early on since the fall—See Revelation 17:15. That seven-headed beast is seven heathen world powers that have ruled most of the world’s population at various times throughout fallen man’s history—Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome, and the end-time form of that old Roman Empire—the two feet and ten toes. Thus, the seven heads cannot be seven literal hills of the literal city of Rome. Remember, five had fallen, one was and the other had not yet come in John’s day—Revelation 17:10. Therefore, the seven-hills-of-Rome interpretation of 17:9 is most ridiculous.

Chapter 18 describes a literal city named Babylon. Although there is now no existing city by that name, I take what the angel told John literally, rather than believe Babylon is some code word. What code? That is where imagination runs wild. And, there are some wild interpretations out there. All of which leaves the church confused, rather than enlightened. Remember, the name of that book is Revelation—an unveiling—not confusion. Understanding is what we need, and understanding comes through honest study, not speculation—2 Timothy 2:15. Contrasts: The whore makes herself rich, whereas the literal city of Babylon makes merchants and kings rich. Moreover, the ten kings under the Antichrist will themselves destroy that whore—the religious system—yet they will actually lament the destruction of the literal city of Babylon. Dr Finis Dake’s Bible notes provide other significant comparisons and contrasts of the two Babylons. And, as Dake points out, nowadays with modern equipment cities can rise overnight. The land of Shinar—where Babylon came into existence—was the location of the first organized human rebellion against God—the beginning of the religious system called Mystery Babylon in Revelation 17:5. More on Babylon next time.

Those ten kings under the Antichrist will hate the whore, and will destroy her (Revelation 17:16). Why would they do such? Revelation 17:17 tells us that God will put it in their hearts to fulfill His will concerning His judgments in the last days. Well, God has an agenda, and the devil has an agenda, and man has an agenda.

Whatever reason fallen man has for doing what he does, Satan uses what fallen man does to accomplish his evil agenda. And God is wise enough to use it all to fulfill His ultimate eternal plan. Many of the things people do make no sense. But, to the devil that makes no difference as long as he can use what people do to accomplish what he wants—to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10).His ultimate purpose being to steal, kill and destroy, not only will he attempt to destroy Israel in the great battle of Armageddon, he will also try to defeat Christ and His heavenly army (the saints who will be caught up in the Rapture before the Tribulation begins), Jesus and all those saints riding upon white horses. But, what will be the reasoning of the devil, the Antichrist and the ten kings under him in destroying the religious system? Some might call this speculation on my part, but throughout all of history, after man’s fall, kings of every nation have used the religious system of their day as a tool to both put and keep them in power. During the first half of that Seven Year Tribulation (3 and 1/2 years), the Antichrist will be gaining both political and military power over the nations. He will obviously need that false religious system to help him accomplish that goal. The very fact that the Antichrist will make a 7 year covenant of peace with Israel (Daniel 9:27) actually proves my point. But, after he gains full power over the nations, so that he may do pretty well whatever he pleases (Daniel 8:12, 24, 25), he will no longer need the religious system; so he gets rid of it. Yet another scriptural fact proving my claim about the Antichrist using the first 3 and 1/2 years of that Seven Year Tribulation Time to get himself fully established is that the two witnesses of Revelation chapter eleven will minister only during the last 3 and 1/2 years of the Tribulation. Their services will not be needed during the first 3 and 1/2 years of the Tribulation, for the Antichrist will be occupied with other pursuits, and obviously will not invade Israel until Tribulation half-time. Neither the Antichrist nor Satan will get anywhere in their attempt to defeat Christ, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings. Both the devil and man will be totally defeated in the battle of Armageddon, and Jesus will set up His kingdom Rod-Of-Iron Rule over the whole planet for a thousand years; and then the final spiritual battle after Satan is released from the Abyss; and then God will create the New Heaven and New Earth—actually the renovation of this one. Revelation chapter eighteen tells about another Babylon, and in the coming lesson I will point out the comparisons and contrasts of the two Babylons.
