FLORENCE–University of North Alabama police officers arrested an individual en route to the campus today on domestic violence charges.
UNA Police received information that a trespassed individual may have been en route to campus from Colbert County.
According to police, the individual has made directed threats to a UNA student (domestic situation) and has been known to be armed. UNA Police Officers observed the subject in the area, followed him and initiated a traffic stop at Irvine and Seminary Street.
The subject was there arrested for Domestic Violence charges and was transported to the Lauderdale County Detention Center.
