Muscle Shoals City Councilman Jim Holland
MUSCLE SHOALS- Councilman Jim Holland succumbed to leukemia this morning around 5:30 at his home.
Holland recently served his sixth term as president of the Muscle Shoals City Council. Jim is survived by one daughter and one grandchild.
Holland retired from Reynolds Metals Company and was past president of the Colbert County Tourism Board.
He chaired numerous other committees and boards in the service of Muscle Shoals.
Councilman Holland operated a local accounting and tax service.
Council Pro Tem Allen Noles has been filling in as council president.
Editor’s note: Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with the Holland Family. Holland was a good Christian man who set a great example for others. Our friend will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
