Authorities tell merchants beware of fake money

FLORENCE- Police are sounding the trumpet about some funny money in circulation.  

Over the last 48 hours multiple businesses have reported counterfeit 100 dollar bills being passed in the Shoals Area. Here is an example of the bills being passed. Note the “For Motion Picture Use Only” printed on both sides of the bills. Also, these bills are printed on wax based paper and have a distinct feel.
