One person was killed Wednesday afternoon when a train hit a car in Colbert County.
Colbert County Deputy Coroner Jennifer Rutland said Derris Lamone Cortner, 46, was killed in the collision.
The accident happened at Red Rock Road near the Colbert Steam Plant around 1:30 p.m
