A two-vehicle crash at 2:10 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, has claimed the life of a Tuscumbia woman. According to state troopers, Rhonda Carol Roden, 54, was killed when the UTV she was operating was struck by a 1999 Buick driven by LG Arnold Blankenship, 83, of Russellville.
Roden was transported to Russellville Hospital in Russellville, where she was pronounced dead, and Blankenship was uninjured.
The crash occurred on Franklin County Road 99, 10 miles east of Russellville.
Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
