TOWN CREEK-(SHOALS INSIDER)-Authorities tell the Shoals Insider they have made an arrest in the August 2014 death of a child from Lawrence County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), they have arrested 28-year-old Evan Woodrow Berryman, of 2941 County Road 235, Town Creek, for capital murder of a child under 14.
Berryman was arrested by Lawrence County deputies and State Troopers on Thursday.
The State Bureau of Investigations has been working the case since it happened in 2014.
Berryman is being held in the Lawrence County Jail without bail.
