Head Baseball Coach Jared Mothershed
SHEFFIELD-Hearts are heavy as word spread throughout the community of Coach Jared Mothershed’s untimely death.
Sheffield School Superintend Keith Lankford said in a statement that the board was notified of Mothershed’s death by Sheffield Police Department.
Although Mothershed was on paid leave while a personnel investigation was being conducted, several of students and players gathered at the field today to pay their respects to a man who had made a positive impact on their lives.
A vigil will be held at 6:00pm Saturday for Coach Mothershed at the baseball field.
