FLORENCE-Businesswoman Kaytrina Simmons walked away with a clean and clear victory Tuesday night. Simmons beat opponent Dave Smith, 441-295.This is Simmons first time to run for office. Simmons manages a human resource company in Florence. She had a large number of supporters show up at city hall Tuesday night as they announced the winners.
Michelle Rupe Eubanks defeated Tom Wissert by six votes (476 to 470) to claim the District 4 seat that is being vacated by Barry Morris, who chose not to seek re-election.
