Sheffield woman dies in crash, one still critical

MUSCLE SHOALS-A two-vehicle crash at 11:49 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, has claimed the life of a Sheffield woman. Angelica Deshun Robinson, 22, was killed when the 2000 Chevrolet Tracker in which she was a passenger collided with a 2016 Kenworth tractor trailer. Robinson was transported to Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield where she was pronounced dead. The Tracker’s driver, Alexas Breanna Clayton, 19, of Muscle Shoals, was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital, where she is still in critical condition. The Kenworth’s driver, Steve Anthony Newman, 51, of Gurley, was uninjured. The crash occurred on Alabama 184, Second Street, near the four-mile marker, one mile north of Muscle Shoals. Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
