Kevin Armstead
In late December, officers responded to a domestic incident stemming from an argument over children. Officers made contact with a female who showed signs of being assaulted. The female was cooperative with law enforcement and relayed that she and Kevin Armstead had been in a physical altercation that resulted in her being strangled. Evidence at the scene confirmed her story. The female received medical treatment as officers attempted, without success, to locate Mr. Armstead. It was determined that several children in the home (all under the age of 7) had witnessed the incident. DHR was contacted to provide services to the female and the children. Following the incident, warrants were issued for Mr. Armstead. He was located and arrested without incident and is currently being held in the LCDC on a bond of $6,000.00
