Tommy Arthur (ALDOC)
WASHINGTON, D.C.-The appeal for condemned murder-for-hire killer Tommy Arthur has been rejected by the Supreme Court.
The US Supreme Court rejected a review of Arthur’s case thus allowing Alabama to carry out the execution. A new execution date has been set for May 25.
This is the eighth time an execution date has been set for Arthur.
Arthur has been on death row for the 1982 murder-for-hire of Troy Wicker of Muscle Shoals.
