LITTLEVILLE-A single-vehicle crash at 10:55 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, has claimed the life of a Leighton man. Tommy Elton McDonald, 62, was seriously injured when the 1979 Yamaha motorcycle he was operating left the roadway and struck a ditch.
McDonald was transported to UAB Hospital in Birmingham, where he died at 5:42 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26.
The crash occurred on Franklin County 48, seven miles southeast of Littleville.
Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
