Dr. Gale Satchel
TUSCUMBIA-(SHOALS INSIDER)- The ethics complaint filed against Dr. Gale Satchel, Superintendent of Colbert County Schools, has been dismissed.Dr. Satchel received notification from the Ethics Commission Friday that the complaints have been dismissed stating, “There was not probable cause to believe she had violated the Ethics Act,”
Satchel was accused of using her position for personal financial gain. The complaints were filed by William Crosswhite of Leighton.
Crosswhite alleged in the complaints that Satchel received financial reimbursement for personal family trips and used professional leave for trips involving her children.
Satchel has maintained her innocence.
The complaints were filed in February while Satchel was the federal programs director for Colbert County schools.
