TUSCUMBIA
TWO ARRESTED IN DRUG BUST
Patrol officers and investigators with the Tuscumbia Police Department arrested 2 people in conjunction with information received about possible drug distribution from a vehicle in the parking lot adjacent to a local hotel.
Officers recovered approximately 275 Fentanyl tablets, 13.71 grams of cocaine, marijuana, two(2) guns and assorted other prescription pills in bottles not labeled for the proper medication. This according to Tuscumbia Police Chief Tony Logan.
Charged in this case are Brian Jacob Bynon, age 26 of Mcgee street in Russellville and D’Laney Jane Hayward, age 19 of Highway133 Russellville. Both have been charged with Trafficking Fentanyl, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marjuana 2nd, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The two are being held in the Colbert County Jail on a $178,500 Bond each.
