PHIL CAMPBELL-Authorities are questioning the boyfriend in the death investigation of a 39-year-old female, whose body was found around 6:30pm Sunday.
Authorities tell the Insider, April Michelle Welch Hamm’s body was discovered just off the road near the intersection of Hwy. 237 and Woodard Road.
According to law enforcement personnel, Hamm’s boyfriend Wade Allen Lawrence is being held on a 72-hour investigative hold.
Lawrence has not been charged with a crime. Authorities are awaiting autopsy results before any charges will be made.
Authorities say it can take up to 72 hours before preliminary autopsy results are returned.
