Darrin Termaine Meade
MUSCLE SHOALS-A Colbert County deputy got a surprise when he went to a residence to serve a warrant for non-payment of child support.
According to Colbert County Sheriff Frank Williamson, 34-year-old Darrin Termaine Meade of 409 East Roosevelt Street, Muscle Shoals, was about to be arrested on child support charges but when the deputies got there he was reportedly cutting up cocaine on the table.
Now, Meade is also charged with possession of controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia.
In all, police found 170 grams of cocaine, $13,000 cash, scales, and other drug paraphernalia.
Meade was released on $25,000 bail.
