Colbert County deputies have made a second arrest in a drive-by shooting incident that occurred late Monday evening near the Ford City Shell Station.
According to Colbert County Sheriff Eric Balentine, Brett Grimes, 41, was arrested and charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle.
Robert Dewayne Goodwin, 43, was arrested on Monday and charged with the same charge.
The incident occurred Monday around 10:30 pm.
“No one was injured in the incident but there were several bullet holes in the vehicle,” said Sheriff Balentine. “It was an altercation between two people,”
Colbert County investigators were at the scene interviewing witnesses after the incident occurred.
Goodwin was released Tuesday from the Colbert County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
Grimes was released on Wednesday from the Colbert County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
