FLORENCE-(SHOALS INSIDER)- Ryan’s restaurant at 362 Cox Creek Parkway in Florence has been padlocked.
The corporate office of Ryan’s buffet restaurant chain has closed several locations throughout North Alabama today.
The company issued a statement today concerning the sudden closures:
“Ovation Brands was acquired by Food Management Partners in August 2015. Since that time, we have continued to execute former management’s operating plan to stabilize and enhance the performance of the company. However, based on ongoing assessments of individual restaurants, it is necessary to shutter locations for the continued viability of the brands and our employees.”
74 underperforming Old Country Buffet, Hometown Buffet, Ryan’s, Fire Mountain and Country Buffet restaurants throughout the United States will permanently close on February 4, 2016.

Will they be auction off any of there equipment, appliance ,dishes,silverware,tables,and chairs.,cash register.
We had already contacted corprate and told them we would not be back in that store, so does not bother me. I hate it for the employees
Its a shame we can not keep good eating places in this town.we need more things to come to florence to keep these businesses going,things to bring people from other towns or states,what can you think of besides the marriott that ever has anything? If we had different things here every hotel and eating places would stay full, but no! I think all they want this town for is a retirement place this town cannot depend on people on fixed income, that is my take,what is yours?
