Rodney Russell (FPD)
FLORENCE- At 1 o’clock this morning, officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of Sherrod Ave to a reported burglary in progress. Officers arrived to find that a male had broken into a home and then fled on foot.
Witnesses provided a description of the suspect who was located a short distance away. Russell was found to be heavily intoxicated and was arrested at the scene and charged. He is currently held in the LCDC.
Russell was also charged with possession of burglary tools.
