Retired Police Captain Wyman Pounders
The Russellville Police Department is sad to announce the passing of Retired Police Captain Wyman Pounders. Captain Pounders served over 22 years at the Russellville Police Department and retired 11-20-2007.
Captain Pounders then rejoined the department as a School Resource Officer for the 2013, 2014 and 2015 school years Captain Pounders was currently serving District 1 County Commissioner for Franklin County. Capt Pounders leaves behind wife Roxann Pounders, three daughters and four grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are as follows:
Visitation June 14 from 5 pm until 8 pm at
Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville, Al
Funeral Services will be held June 15th at 11:00 AM at
Pinkard Funeral Home.
