Suspect Charged With Murder

The man held for questioning in the death of Wanda Ivey (Wallace) has been formally charged with murder.

 

 

 

 

Timothy Warhurst, of Blue Road in Tuscumbia, is being held on a bond of $1 million dollars at the Colbert County jail.

 

 

Officials say Warhurst shot Ivey at his residence on Blue Road Sunday night. He was caught red handed digging a grave by police in Walker County. Ivey’s body was found in the back of Warhurst’s truck at that time. She died of two gunshot wounds.

 

 

After being held for questioning Monday Warhurst was charged officially charged with murder on Tuesday afternoon. He is not expected to be able to afford the one million bail that has been set.
