More Petting Zoo Molestation Victims Come Forward

On Friday an employee of Jungle Safari Petting Zoo was arrested for sexual abuse of a child under 12.

Today Daryl V. Raymond Jr, 48, of Stockholm, Maine, appearedĀ in court on two charges of sexual abuse. After his appearance more charges were added.


Police are now saying five victims have come forward with allegations.

Will Powell, Lauderdale County Assistant District Attorney fought against a bond for Raymond, saying he was a flight risk. A new hearing is set for Friday to determine if he is eligible for bail. As of now Raymond is in the detention center on $100,000 bond.

, has pulled up stakes and moved on to Birmingham. There have been several complaints by the USDA about cruelty to the animals in the show.
