AUBURN–According to news reports, an 18-year-old freshman was found dead in his room Sunday afternoon.Authorities have yet to release the name of the student or which dorm the student lived in.
University officials and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office stated the student was not local.
The student’s parents called campus security requesting a welfare check Sunday afternoon.
